A true hidden gem, the service provided is great and Glenn was a great help and was constantly helping us to clean up and topped up our ice water without us asking.
The food is definitely above average and we truly enjoyed it, especially the Oozy Chicken and the super value for money 1 pax steamboat set.
Highly recommended and will definitely continue to support if only for the great service rendered. If around the area, please give it a shot as Glenn and his Chef are the only ones manning the store yet are still able to provide top notch food and service!
The place was quite spacious and empty on a Wednesday evening. Made reservation through eatigo with 10% discount on food items. Staff were not as attentive due to lack of manpower but they were friendly. Ordered Tom yum chicken, basil pork and prawn omelette. Tom yum soup was alright, more towards the tanginess than spicy. Bit disappointed in the basil pork as there were more veg and onions than the minced pork. Overall it was still alright.
Really good food that's above average. Esp the bitter gourd eggs and cabbage. The iced tea was really thick too. The curry crab meat though .... Was too little. At $26 we expected a little more meat. It was barely a spoonful and the meat was not very sweet. The curry probably over powered the meat.
Not much customer in the weekday but the food is not bad. The red ruby is a lot and very delicious. Definitely my husband fav desert. There is 10 % discount off for safra club member. Will bring the parent come for dinner someday.
Came on Sunday. Ordered Satay. It is not satay. It is those teriyaki chicken stick you can get frozen in a bag. Signature egg soup was not what I expected too. But it was okay. The wait was as long as a typical jam in Bangkok City during peak hours. Terrible experience.
Edit: 2 stars.
A gem find nestled on a Tuesday afternoon lunch. Authentic Thai Steam steambass at 15.90 on their express menu which is a steal compared to other places. Restaurant like this is hard to find especially on a hot day. There are also meetings rooms available for lunch meeting according to the manager. There are also items that are worth trying like the crispy noodles with pork and tonkatsu xo fried rice.
Hidden place inside safra. In my opinion, their food taste better than soi thai. Went for the 20$ express menu which includes choice of 1 meat, 1 veg and 1 soup. The tomyum garlic chicken is my favourite. They have special dishes which you cant find it outside too. For eg; watermelon fried rice
Excellent tomyam soup, not very crowded on a fri afternoon. Service is excellent and the waiter come with water very fast and very accomodating would eat here again. But price is like resturant like expected, 7$ for a tomyum sound.
